Heading down to ma & pa’s I was soooo excited! After I arrived & hugged my hellos I then found out Hayley (pink) & Muz were joining us… by the time we walked into the Axe, you could have peeled me of the ceiling!
Roo & I headed back down to Peterborough on Tuesday & my what a game we were treated to! All in all a fighting (literally) performance & a deserving win; we won 2:3 with a big brawl at the end.
During the week Roo & I went to the gym to test it out & it got a marvellous thumbs up! So much so we’re gunna join on Tuesday! new leaner, fitter Shexah Sharon will be on her way!
On the work front… I am super proud to say that I’ve obviously done something right; as of the 1st I am a permanent member of the Legwear team :D
Goodness weekends come round quick don’t they? & this was one I’d been looking forward to since forever!... Murray’s 30th party! Actually, Roo & I sneakily snuck back to Nottingham after arriving in Hemingford on Friday... when I said to mum there was a rather big game for Nott’s on tomorrow, she said…”Oh, why aren’t you going?”… well… that was all we needed :D (to be honest, I didn’t realise that Emmie was off to France until last weekend, so, as it turns out we had a loose end!) We lost 2:0 in an utter game of 2 halves… we turned up so much in the 1st half that we didn’t bother. At all. In the 2nd!
There are truly no words to describe Saturday night. But I will try. Fabulous. Entertaining. Alcoholic. Loud. Tremendous. Hot. Hilarious to name but a few! Spending time with my family is so much more valuable to me now that I don’t get to see them as often and that party will remain with me forever. I can’t remember when I laughed so much (or drank so much come to think of it!), sang so hard & spent time in such wonderful company. Bruv, you have a fantastic set of friends & it was an honour to be part of the festivities. I know this all seems a bit gushy, but I don’t care, so ner! :D oooh & the cakes were yummy too!
Sunday saw a late morning rise (especially as we’d watched X-Factor when we got home… & on that note, comments here would be grand please!). We headed to Ramsey & to Robbyn’s 14th celebrations… yes, I said 14… my tiny little niece is growing up too damn quick! Before we knew it & with a heavy heart, we headed home, where I now sit stuffed full of Roo’s yummy roasted lamb & X-Factored & Strictly’d out!
Looking to the week ahead & it’s all about the Peters clan preparations!... Murray, Hayley, Leon & Ewan are north bound on Saturday & we’re treating them to their 1st ever game of Ice hockey; as luck would have it, it’s possibly the most anticipated game of the season… the 1st Nottingham Panthers / Sheffield Steelers clash.! we’ve got a room to empty so Leon has somewhere to sleep & a house to “try” & make toddler safe… god help us!
Now happy & tired, I think I shall retire to bed. Until next time my happy readfolk. Take care & as ever, your comments are always welcome!
Love Shaza the blessed
