Oh my… 2 weeks have passed already! & what have I been up to?!
Hmmm, let me see… well, the Sheffield Wednesday game was fab! 10,500 supporters (10k of them were Wednesday fans lol!) made it an amazing atmosphere. Louise’s 40th party was fab too… it was at the cricket club, with karaoke, so you can imagine the carnage! (all I'm saying is Roo... Gay Bar...)
Last weekend was Roo’s last game of cricket for the season. Great atmosphere from the lads, even though they didn’t win a single game all season! Roo & I were doing the rain dance the night before, but as it worked out we needn't have bothered & those cheekie chappies lost in record time! We whizzed straight off & managed to get to the ice hockey… we only missed the 1st 5 minutes (a fight & our 1st goal!) my hockey hubby Lee & his lovely lady Liz were there supporting the Cardiff Devils. It as an amazing 1st game to go to… we finally won 5:4 but I tell ya… the last 5 minutes were a nail bitter!

I’m trying to remember what we were up to on Sunday… good lord, I feel old, I’ve a damn memory like a sieve! Ah yeah!... we went shopping in Nottingham for a bit & then met up with Nicola & Jon for drinks after their amazing Robin Hood ½ marathon.
Things I’m looking forward to (blimey, just realised we’re up to a lot!):
Popping back down next weekend… my hair appointment (yay!) but also, Nigel’s birthday do. Roo prolly won’t be coming down, as we’re headed straight back down next weekend!, so I’ll get lots of uninterrupted catch up time.. Emmie… I’m looking at you!!! I’ve got my hair appointment mid morning, so I should be free about 1pm onwards… lets get some plans afoot! also, to H’s birthday! Not sure if there’s any plans afoot yet, but, hopefully I’ll catch up with her, otherwise I’m very sure she’ll be along for Muz’s the following weekend – good old chin wag then :D
MY LICKLE BRO’S TURNING THIRTY! Oh Emm Gee! So the following weekend we’ll be headed straight back down again for a night of carnage at the Nelly’s head! Can’t wait will be epic & amazing
The weekend after will see lickle bro, pink & pro footballer Leon & wee Ewan up to us!... we’re taking them to their 1st ever Ice Hockey game… it’s the 1st Sheffield Steeler vs Panthers game (which are always legendary!) so it’ll be a packed house of around 5-6k fans! Mega exciting!
Then, the weekend after sees Ma & pa coming up! They’ve booked into a camp site that we’ve found nearby (hopefully it’s a good un, it’s only a couple of miles away, dead handy like) we’ll be taking them with Mama Joyce & Papa Den (Roo’s mum & dad) out to the Chinese & then Saturday we’ll be watching Notts county & then straight on to the Ice Hockey. To top off the fab times, we’ll be heading to Nottingham castle for the annual beer festival (yus, Monday WILL be booked off work lol!)
Then, at the end of the month, we have more very special visitors in the form of Emmie & the Frankster! They’ll be here for the Robin Hood Pageant… Frankie will LOVE it with all the jousting & stuff & Emmie will love it cos we’ll take them to the newly discovered (for me!) Pitcher & Piano… fab food/drink/venue!
Oh, the following weekend (1st week in November) I’m back down AGAIN… it’ll be hair time!... no plans yet… so, lets get making some! ;P
Phew! Knackered just thinking about it! Anyone around when I’m down, please come along & say hi!... especially next weekend – nigel’s do’s on Friday & expect they’ll be a packed house… bondy’s playing too… will be uberfun!
A quick note on the work front… all’s going well… not wanting to say too much, but, hoping we can get the “package” sorted soon… if so, then I’ll be working there full time & very happy. Fab little family run business & they seem to already appreciate all the hard work I’m putting in. *fingers crossed*
Well, that’s it for now (oh, there’s the small matter of various wee ones birthdays too!... yes Bob & Kay, I’m looking at you 2!)
So, hope you're all good... lemmie know what you're up to too... in the meantime... x factor's back & strictly soon... I'll be popping comments up here... feel free to have your say!
Stay safe, love Shazapoo x
