Back Garden after another haircut! 01.10.11
Over another month has passed & Mavis is starting to look tidy! & in the case of the garden... a little TOO tidy after Roo & his dad decided to test the saw out on the poor willow!
I'm the idiot that forgot to take before pictures :( so, here's the video I made when we originally viewed. Yus, I am aware I sound frightfully posh & say the stupidest things :(

Roo athletically leaping in the kitchen
This is a mainly piccies update... there's only so many ways you can describe new joists being fitted! Roo & Papa Den have been rather busy downstairs; The bathroom & kitchen are all ripped out & all the old rotten joists have been lifted & replaced all topped off with lovely new floorboards.
I've stared a scrapbook of design ideas; let me tell you, it's daunting having an entire house to style! I mean, what is "our stamp"? everyone always wants to put theirs onto a property! Roo & I went to "Grand Designs Live" My word! there were some amazing products on show; windows that change from clear to opaque at the touch of a switch, simply stunning bathrooms, gorgeous wallpapers (it turns out damn expensive too though *sniff*) & a plethora of bi-folding door suppliers! (the sunroom with bi-folding doors is a project for the future).
A trip to Ikea gave us the missing piece for our kinda study part of the lounge that's currently bedroom 3, bookshelves all over the wall with a gap in the middle for the hooooge fish tank! we've also found a rather fab long table & storage combie to go opposite for our computers. Am really looking forward to the escapism this room will provide.
That's about it for now. Next time, I'll hopefully update with pictures of a new dormer! Oh & any design ideas you have will be gratefully received!
